It is always a great idea to get off the only traditional way. This couple got married during one of their navy post assignments, a very cute and romantic wedding reception. Now, they are coming to the city that saw them grow up and become the beautiful people they are now.
Parents organized a nice "Open House" so all friends will be able to greet them, congratulate them, and shower them with gifts.
Delicate flowers were painted in watercolor for this occasion; they were placed as an arrangement in the middle of the invitation to frame the names and the purpose of the event.
Due to the simplicity and delicacy of the design, I create a soft texture and color as background to give it body and character.
The back was also designed and I added their initials as the final touch.
